June 18th was one year since the day Lilly joined our family. This photo shows her eating noodles as part of our "eat in " celebration of Chinese food because big brother Jackson was diagnosed with mono last week.

One Year Later

Thursday, May1, was the one year anniversary of receiving our referral and getting to see Lilly's face for the first time. We thought we would share some photos from one year later.

Chinese New Year

We had a great time celebrating Chinese New Year with Lilly. It included dinner (Chinese food, of course) ribbon dances, dragon dances and a group photo of all the kids (probably 75) on stage. Just try and imagine that! Lilly's reaction to her outfit when I pulled it out of its original wrappings from China was, "Wow...pretty" and then she immediately began to try and put it on. These are some of our favorite friends who celebrated with us.
